Classes in taijiquan

New classes at the Unitarian Church

A new class has started at the Unitarian Church on Emmanuel Road in Cambridge (entrance on Victoria St.). Beginners are welcome at any time on Tuesdays at the Unitarian Church or on Wednesdays at the Trumpington Pavilion.

The classes are from 7pm to 9pm. The first hour will be an hour of standing post and silk reeling. The second hour on Tuesdays will be on laojia yilu. This is the main form practised in Chen village today.

New students

New students are welcome at any time. First taster classes are free, wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes.

There are no terms, just regular weekly lessons paid in advance at the first class in each new month. If you know you are not able to attend the whole month please inform me on that day or earlier for a pro rata payment. There are no refunds for missed classes during each month.

Class fees are paid at the beginning of each month. Each class is one hour long. 40 pounds per month if you are attending one class each week, 60 pounds per month for two classes each week, and 80 pounds a month for up to four classes each week. The drop in rate is 15 pounds per one hour class, unless by prior arrangement. The first ‘taster’ lessons are always free.
